My oak tree. It is small, but I love it.
A beautiful little purple daisy. (I'm not really sure what it's real name is, but I think that it's beautiful.)
A salvia. Which I thought I fried the first week they were in but now they are alive and well.
This is a cool plant called digitalis which I think has a cool looking flower.
Here is one of my flower beds.
Another one. You can see my humming bird feeders next to which are my 3 tomato plants. (P.S. I don't think that I'll be able to eat all of the tomatoes that they are producing. They are loaded with blooms and little growing tomatoes.)
Looking to the right from the front porch.
Looking at the street from the front porch.
It may not look like much to you, however it feels like hundreds of hours of time and tons of sweat and quite a bit of money went into this project.

Outside
Here are some pictures of my summer project. My front yard. Here's a couple views from the sidewalk in front of my house.

Now some of my plants, up close and beautiful. (At least they are to me.)

Rural Schools Conference
I am currently in Cedar City at the Rural School Conference. For the next two years I will be doing a program called EMED. It is a federally funded grant to incorporate technology with Math. So a couple of days ago I got some fun new "toys". I am typing this on my new MacBook Pro. I love it!!! I also got a new iPod touch, a Flip video camera, and a document camera. It is so much fun "playing" with my new toys!

Ashley
This post is all about Ashley.
Sharee is making a slide show and wanted pictures of me with Ashley and can you believe the only one I could find is of us swimming! Go figure. Ashley did NOT want to get in the resivoir and she was bawling so I drug her in and we decided to scream for the picture and so it looks like we are having fun.
Here's a picture of Erika and Ashley at Easter.

I used to be in colorguard and I loved it! One year I bought myself a flag for my birthday and here is a picture of Ashley putting on a show for me. Sorry it's fuzzy my camera had something on the lense.

Ashley loves to hold babies. Here is a picture of her holding Shilah.

This summer when I took my trip to Wyoming to visit Matt and then Cody I arrived, unknown to Ashley, at the swimming pool where she was hanging out with a friend. I walked over to her and said, "Hi Ashley." and her face lit up and she ran over to me and gave me the biggest hug ever. I hadn't seen her for a few months. I think Ashley and I have a weird, yet special bond and it is so hard not seeing her as often as I would like. That last part goes for all of my neices and nephews by the way. I wish my job could be to hang out with them all of the time! Anyway Ashley loves to play with the camera and I stole it for a minute and snapped these shots of her.
