This came from my friend Stacey's blog. I signed up to receive a handmade item from her, but must pay it forward. Here's how it works-the first 5 people to leave a comment on this post will receive, at some point during the year, a FANTASTICAL handmade gift from me. What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise! The catch is that you must participate as well-before you leave your comment here, write up a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going. Then come back, let me know you're going to play, and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift! Remember that only the first 5 comments will receive a gift from me, so be quick!
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. It'll be done this year (hopefully sooner than later).
3. You will have no clue what it is going to be.C'mon, you know you wanna play!

CRAZY!!!
I feel like I've gone crazy! I have seriously worked more hours in the last couple of months than any normal human being should. Probably not, but I feel like it!! I don't get to blog much because I decided to build a house on a teacher's salary. If I want to be able to pay my mortgage than I need to have a second job. I started teaching connections, an after school program at Ashley, four nights a week. I may have to cut back but we'll see. My school day offically starts at 8:00 or 7:30, if we have faculty meeting, and then the nagging and bossing of children continues until 6:00 P.M. when connections closes, if all the parents are on time to pick their children up. Don't worry I have to come in before that or stay after to get my "work" done. Sorry I'm just venting.
House Update:
I have a roof!!! The plumber is supposed to be plumbing as we speak! I seriously can not wait to pick out all the fun stuff. I found a picture of my dream kitchen

of course mine won't look exactly like that but it is my inspiration. Stay tuned to see if it turns out!

House
So here it is the foundation of my house. WOOO HOOO!!!
I do have a floor in my basement and a "baby wall" also but those pictures are on my camera at home. I can't believe that I am slowly getting work done on my house it seems like it is taking eons. I promise that I will post a little more often and keep you all updated.

Baby Aaden
A couple of months ago my brave, baby sister had a little boy. His name is Aaden Jade Owens. Here is a picture of my little hero and her baby. What a champ.
After Aaden was born mom called Shannon and I and we rushed down to the hospial. He was so adorable and he had hair. We couldn't believe it. Claire's little Isabel had really fine blonde haire and you could hardly see it. Here's the lovely picture of me with Aaden. (I look adorable too! Not even.)
His shirt says that he's 100% kissable and that is so true!!
So I realize this post is a little late but I just had to show my friends my newest little nephew.

Roommate & Halloween
About six weeks ago I miraculously got a new roommate. Her name is Rebecca and she is our school's new dance teacher and she is awesome. I would post some pictures but I've seemed to misplace my camera (either alone or with the help of some sticky-fingered students). She is so much fun. She recently ran a marathon in St. George and qualified to run the Boston Marathon. YIPEEE!!!! She has tried for quite awhile to qualify.
Friday USU had a Halloween party and Becca and I went with a few more friends and we had a blast. She made me dress up. I was a train conductor and she was Rosie something from the World War 2 posters. We had a ton of fun dancing the night away. Once again no pictures due to no camera.
